That means up-to-date, live availability, dynamic pricing and instant confirmation from your website. A 24-hour turnaround for an on-request booking could mean a lost booking.
And with Eviivo Frontdesk, it could also mean cashflow benefits for your business. You receive payment at the time of booking.
So what does the customer see at the time of booking? Here are the steps they will go through.
Step 1: Click the "Book Now" Button on your website.
A customer would simply click the Book Now button on the home, product and booking pages of your website. Having the Book Now Button enabled on your website is a pre-requisite for adopting Eviivo Frontdesk.
Step 2: Select product type or package
Once you have clicked on the Book Now Button, your site will direct your customer to your Eviivo Frontdesk MyWebsite Booking Pages.
Here the customer can seach for product options and availability.
They can also define the search parametres, such as the number of people, and the amount of inventory they require.
Step 3: Check availability
Having completed a search based on the customer's parametres, MyWebsite will return the inventory availability screen.
The customer is presented with the pricing options for their selected product(s).
From here the customer has the option to select their option of choice, or search again.
Step 4: Agree to booking terms and conditions
Once the customer has selected their inventory options, they will be presented with the booking terms and conditions. It is important the you provide all the pertinent policies around changes, amendments and cancellations to your bookings. Our customer service team can then show you how to poulate and edit these in the Manage Tab of your Eviivo Frontdesk.
The selected inventory will also be confirmed to your customers.
Here they will "opt-in", agreeing to the terms and conditions, the dates and the pricing.
Step 5: Enter details and credit card number on a secure form
With Eviivo Frontdesk we provide your customers with Secure Internet pages for them to provide the appropriate payment details to secure their booking.
Confirmed payments are settled directly into your bank account. No waiting for the customer to stay and play before receiving the funds.
From this page, the customer can also choose if they want to receive emails from you.
The customer can print a tax invoice for their records. A tax invoice is also automatically sent to the customer’s email address.
The booking is now confirmed. The booking will automatically appear on your status screen in your Eviivo Frontdesk. You’ll also receive an email or text confirming the booking.
The booking will also be updated for distributors through the Tourism Exchange. That way, the room or service is blocked out for sale and can’t be double booked.
All information about the booking – except credit card details – are backed up on our central database so if your computer has a problem, you won’t lose the booking information.
